I'm fascinated by popular religious figures like the Pope and the Dalai Lama. Especially the Pope, but I'm not quite sure why. It may be because he manages to lead the life of a rock star jetsetter and still maintain his "austere" mortal status. That takes some clever marketing. Take for example Pope Benedict's large wardrobe.
